Bottom Prizes

New for the 2024 contest are the Bottom Prizes, or more descriptively, the top of the bottom half prizes. Here is how it works. At the end of the year, we sort all the participants by mileage ridden then we find the mid-point of the list separating the top half from the bottom half. For example, with 30 participants, we sort that list at the end of the year into the top half of 1 through 15 and the bottom half of 16-30.

The prizes below would be awarded to the participants in 16th, 17th, and 18th place.

NOTE: In the case of an odd number of participants, the smaller group will be in the top half and the larger group will be in the bottom half.

  • First Place –a new set of tires (up to a $500 value)

  • Second Place –$300 Sloan's merchandise certificate to be used in the parts and accessories department.

  • Third Place – $100 Sloan’s merchandise certificate to be used in the parts and accessories department.

Sprint Prizes

New for the 2024 contest, 2 random months of the contest will be announced as “sprints” where you can win additional prizes for riding the most mileage in that sprint month. To participate, you must take and email your bike’s mileage pictures at the beginning of the month and the end of the month.

Whoever tallies the most mileage ridden in that sprint month will win the following prizes:

  • First place - $100 Sloan’s merchandise certificate to be used in the parts and accessories department.

  • Second place - $50 Sloan’s merchandise certificate to be used in the parts and accessories department.

  • Third place - $25 Sloan’s merchandise certificate to be used in the parts and accessories department.
